Strategic Financial Planner

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team. As a key member of the financial leadership group, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through strategic financial planning and analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with experience in developing and managing complex financial models, forecasting and budgeting, and analyzing variances in Prime Materials and R&M costs. They will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and managing comprehensive financial forecasts and reports
• Analyzing variances in Prime Materials and R&M costs, and providing actionable insights to improve operational efficiency
• Creating and enhancing forecasting models and dashboards to support business decision-making
• Managing Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) and supporting CapEx project costing and reporting
• Overseeing financial aspects of Major Shutdown (MSD) events, including inventory and contractor spend
• Contributing to the annual budget process and integrating key cost data
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A tertiary qualification in Accountancy or Commerce
• CA or CPA qualified
• 3–5 years' experience in financial or management accounting, ideally in manufacturing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Hyperion, SAP desirable)
• High attention to detail, pragmatic mindset, and results-oriented approach
