Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our paper products meets customer requirements.

  • Maintain and improve quality management systems to prevent non-conformances.
  • Monitor and report on paper quality, quality non-conformances, and capability.
  • Investigate system issues and implement changes to prevent non-conformances.
  • Liaise with laboratory teams regarding observations or requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Paper Quality Monitoring: Monitor and report on paper quality, quality non-conformances, and capability.
  • System Improvements: Investigate system issues and implement changes to prevent non-conformances.
  • Laboratory Liaison: Liaise with laboratory teams regarding observations or requirements.
  • Customer Complaints: Manage paper complaints and claims, investigations, and corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Applied Science or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a Quality Co-Ordinator/Assurance role in paper or board making.
  • Strong MS Excel or Data Analysis software capabilities.
  • Highly organized, task-focused with strong administrative and technical report writing skills.
