This key role involves providing professional secretarial and administrative services to support senior executives.
The successful candidate will deliver high-level operational support in areas such as administration, secretariat functions, organisational operations, and event coordination.
- Main responsibilities include:
- Providing strong administrative support at a senior/executive level, including taking minutes.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Coordinating events and meetings, ensuring seamless logistical arrangements.
- Maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion at all times.
To excel in this position, you will need to possess:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant with 3-5 years of experience.
- Highly developed written communication skills, including writing clearly and concisely, preparing reports, and managing quality information.
- Ability to multitask, maintain composure under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a small team environment.
- Desirable: Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and is acknowledged by their community.
Please note that applicants must hold a current WA C-Class Driver's Licence and provide a National Police Clearance prior to appointment. Applicants must also demonstrate an understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with them.
