Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our team and contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality public spaces.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our dynamic team to enhance Wyndham's urban environment, meeting the current and future needs of the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and document streetscape and open space upgrades for key activity centres
  • Prepare contract documentation, including specifications and tender documents
  • Supervise consultants in the design of projects for our capital works program
  • Work with project managers to supervise contractors during construction
  • Coordinate and engage with internal and external stakeholders and the community
  • Provide design services and advice for landscape and urban design projects
Requirements
  • Demonstrated design and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in landscape architecture, urban design or a related discipline
  • Experience in preparing designs for typical Local Government streetscape projects
  • Experience in preparing contract documentation and producing tenders
  • Experience in supervising contractors
  • High-level CAD and graphic design program skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a positive, proactive attitude
