The Role

We are seeking a Part-Time Landscape Architect (15–20 hours per week) with proven expertise in greenfield and infill land subdivisions and townhouse developments.

The key responsibilities of a Landscape Architect include:

  • Coordinating and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Undertaking site evaluations to inform design proposals
  • Preparing Landscape Master Plans to support planning submissions
  • Preparing detailed design documentation, specifications and costings for: subdivision streetscapes, parks, wetlands, drainage corridors, conservation sites, medium density developments, childcare centres
  • Coordinating with subconsultant teams
  • Assisting Landscape Manager to achieve design approvals with Council and relevant authorities
  • Assisting preparation of tender and contract documentation
  • Assisting supervision and contract administration of landscape works on-site
  • Ensuring all designs and works adhere to industry standards, regulations, and codes

What you will need to be successful:

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
  • 3+ years in land subdivision (essential) and town house developments
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (BricsCAD) and technical drafting
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and client management abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of landscape practices, construction detailing and planting design
