We are seeking a talented Computational Scientist to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science, bioinformatics, or a related field, with expertise in image analysis and machine learning. Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow is highly desirable.

The salary for this position is approximately $95,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The role involves collaborating with researchers to develop robust software solutions for analyzing complex biological data, including imaging and omics datasets. The ideal candidate will have excellent programming skills in Python, with experience in additional languages such as R, JavaScript, Julia, MATLAB, or C++.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and optimizing AI/ML algorithms for life science data analysis.
  • Creating user-friendly interfaces and tools for scientists to analyze and visualize complex datasets.
  • Maintaining modular and reusable workflows using version control systems, container, and workflow management technologies.
