Lead Food and Beverage Professional

At The Star Sydney, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Food and Beverage Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our outlets, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Food and Beverage Attendants to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor and control labour costs, operating expenses, and inventory levels to optimize profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar large, busy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverages, including menu planning, inventory management, and food safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Current RSA Statement of Attainment.
  • Flexible availability for work over a 7-day roster.
