About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Category Development Analyst to join our Emerging Channel team at Sanitarium. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies to drive growth and revenue opportunities for both Sanitarium and our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the sales, category, and marketing teams to develop category vision and strategies using comprehensive shopper, consumer, and category analytics.
  • Manage the retailer range review process, providing detailed category performance metrics and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with retailers to set strategic direction and unlock growth opportunities for priority segments and accounts.
  • Monitor performance of category product portfolio and competitors ranges to ensure optimal brand strategy.
  • Provide input into NPD process, assisting in setting goals and objectives for new products and supporting go-to-market strategies.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce, or Business.
  • 3+ years' experience in Marketing, Sales, or Category.
  • Nielsen scan/panel experience preferred but not essential.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
