The role of a Property Officer is crucial in maintaining all assigned properties and assets to a high standard in a safe, efficient, and routine manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee repairs and maintenance for all assigned properties, including coordinating schedules and reviewing service agreements with contractors.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is completed for Residential Tenancy Authority and other legislative guidelines, in collaboration with the Leasing Officer. Ensure contractor compliance (licences, insurance, checks).
- Source, order, and arrange the purchase, repair, or replacement of assets. Track asset movements and maintain accurate asset registers.
- Source new properties suitable for supported accommodation, investigate industry trends, and partner with suppliers, contractors, and internal units for growth opportunities.
- Ensure appropriate records are kept and maintained to a high standard, aligning with reporting requirements and policies.
- A combination of relevant experience, education, and training in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years (desirable).
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating professional assertiveness and excellent customer service.
- Exceptional multi-tasking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, organisational, and administrative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and web-based applications.
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Working with Children Suitability Blue Card.
- Licensed Care Services approval.
- NDIS Worker Screening.
- Current unencumbered Class C Driver's Licence.
