Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Swim Instructor to deliver aquatic education and water safety programs at our centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instruct lessons in water safety, water familiarisation, learn to swim, and squads.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lesson content with an emphasis on safety and variety for participants.
  • Evaluate and adjust lesson plans to cater for the needs of students.
  • Organise and monitor teaching equipment for each lesson.
  • Regularly assess student progress.
  • Provide a customer-oriented environment.
  • Promote teamwork and effective communication through collaborative work practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Current Australian Swimming & Water Safety qualification.
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • NSW Working with Children Check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in swim teaching/coaching at all levels from infants to squads.
  • First aid certificate.
  • Current Australian Teacher of Infant & Preschool qualification.
  • Current Australian Teacher of Access & Inclusion qualification.
  • Current Australian Teacher of Adult qualification.
  • Current Australian Teacher of Competitive Strokes qualification.
  • Pool Lifeguard qualification.
