Job Opportunity: Early Childhood Service Delivery Specialist

The NSW Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Senior Project Officer in our Local Operations Branch.

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in leading the management of localised issues, coordinating the implementation of initiatives, and brokering customised solutions to support the provision of government and non-government early childhood services.

Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in project management and stakeholder engagement to lead the development and implementation of strategies to improve outcomes for children in New South Wales.
  • You will work closely with our teams across the department to deliver high-quality results and drive organisational objectives in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the management of localised issues and develop strategies to address complex problems in early childhood service delivery.
  • Coordinate the implementation of initiatives and programs to improve outcomes for children in New South Wales.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community groups, schools, and other government agencies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the department to achieve organisational objectives and drive innovation in early childhood education.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
