Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment Professional
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to join our team. As an HSE specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective HSE programs, policies, procedures, and processes across our operations. This includes assisting in the development and review of risk assessments and job safety analyses to support HSE management systems and business activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining facility legal and regulatory compliance registers
- Providing HSE support for operational tenders and registration within supply chain databases
- Conducting facility HSE audits and participating in workplace inspections
- Promoting near-miss reporting and investigating workplace incidents
- Coordinating waste streams and waste disposal programs
- Collecting and monitoring data for ESG reporting
- Maintaining emergency response plans and scheduling emergency drills
- Documenting and developing Level III HSE procedures
- Reporting monthly HSE progress on key performance indicators and objectives
- Supporting HSE communications and providing general HSE support to other locations and business units
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in HSE roles, with a focus on implementation and maintenance of HSE programs
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, policies, and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
