Transmission Line Project Manager
This is a high-level construction management role within our organization, overseeing the delivery of a new 700km transmission line connecting customers with more renewable energy.
The project will enable an additional 4950MW of generation capacity, saving NSW customers $180 million a year and creating 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
- Evaluate and improve constructability and develop effective structural & stringing solutions for 330kV and 500kV.
- Oversee the safe and effective delivery of structural and stringing activities.
- Be a senior figure in a team working to deliver works packages to program and budget.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Procurement team to develop scopes of work and evaluate and select appropriate sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Analyse risks within construction to ensure works are delivered safely and meet all environmental and quality requirements.
- Prepare construction budgets, forecasts and updates.
Skills and Experience Required
- Degree in Engineering and over 10 years of OHTL experience.
- Thorough understanding of Australian OHS legislative requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
