Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled clinician to provide high-level assessment and therapeutic services in an acute hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have advanced clinical reasoning skills and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing complex clinical services to patients, clients, or consumers requiring advanced practice skills.
  • Providing clinical supervision and support to junior staff as required.
  • Involvement in planning, implementing, and evaluating services, developing quality improvement activities, and conducting research with stakeholders.
  • Delivering a range of high-level assessment and therapeutic services within scope, according to relevant models of care and frameworks.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Work.
  • Advanced clinical reasoning skills and the ability to operate with minimal direct clinical supervision.
  • Strong time management skills, written and verbal communication, and IT skills, including experience with telehealth.
