Automated Guided Vehicle Solutions EngineerWe are seeking a talented and ambitious engineer to join our team in designing, building, implementing, and supporting automated system solutions for warehouses, distribution centers, and production facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and robotics, with experience in AGV systems, PLC configuration, programming, and commissioning.A successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of PC and basic programming, as well as experience with networking, monitoring, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.They will also possess excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and industry projects, collaborating with technical experts and gaining valuable experience.Responsibilities:
  • Develop AGV functionality and technical specifications
  • Prepare system design and programming of AGV systems
  • Assist with AGV system testing and integration, and AGV factory testing
  • Test and integrate AGV and PLC systems
  • Commission AGVs on-site
  • Support projects in managing costs and schedules
  • Participate in operator training
  • Assist in the development and improvement of AGV project delivery
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Recent graduate or 1-2 years of experience
  • Knowledge of PLC configuration, programming, and commissioning
  • Knowledge of PC and basic programming (PLC Structured Text, SICK Devices, C or C++ desirable)
  • Experience with networking, monitoring, diagnosis, and troubleshooting
  • Experience in electrical design using AutoCAD or similar 2D and 3D drawing packages
  • Experience with automation or materials handling (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Hunger and ability to learn
