Financial Monitoring Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Financial Monitoring Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the compliance of reporting entities with their obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 and the Financial Transaction Reports Act 1988.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess the compliance of reporting entities with their obligations;
- Participate in compliance assessments, including preparation of related documentation;
- Undertake analysis, risk assessment, financial analysis, and projects in relation to identified non-compliance by entities regulated by us;
- Maintain an understanding of relevant legislation, processes, guidelines, and regulations.
Eligibility
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a security assessment, maintain an ongoing security clearance, and satisfy our pre-engagement checks.
To be eligible for assessment, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
