Senior Adviser, Monitoring

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Participants Compliance team. As a Senior Adviser, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the design, coordination, and enhancement of our participants' compliance monitoring and review framework.

  • You will assist in managing compliance relationships between ASX and participants related to monitoring and review programs.
  • Support the planning and design of ongoing robust monitoring and review programs.
  • Implement monitoring and review programs with participants, escalate concerns, and provide input on areas for enhancement.
  • Prepare management and industry reporting on monitoring and review program outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a monitoring and review framework that reflects current and emerging approaches to risk and compliance.
Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Deep industry or professional experience in financial products (equities, bonds, derivatives) and clearing settlement arrangements.
  • Broad understanding of ASX Operating Rules covering all ASX products.
  • Detailed knowledge and practical application of compliance and risk methodologies.
  • A tertiary qualification in law, accounting, finance, business, economics, or related disciplines.
  • Critical thinking with an analytical approach.
