Operations and Collateral Analyst Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to monitor clearing activity, manage trade exceptions, and provide support to members and clients in the Asia-Pacific region.

  • Daily monitoring of member clearing activity; managing trade exceptions with members, clients, and trade execution venues.
  • Managing the handover of services from NY and London.
  • Responding in a timely manner to queries from members and clients.
  • Supporting the onboarding of new members and clients onto SwapClear.
  • Providing support during the testing of new products or services.
  • Escalation point for issues with SwapClear Production environments including communicating issues to members.
  • Serving as the single point of contact for member and client queries across all SwapClear activity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An undergraduate degree in finance or business related field.
  • Experience within an Investment Bank or Financial Institution.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced numerical competency with proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with Murex and/or Calypso.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Austraclear, RITS, and SWIFT.
