Monitoring Operations Specialist

Job Description:

This role involves monitoring and responding to incidents in real-time, ensuring site safety, maintaining system integrity, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems to identify and respond to incidents promptly.
  • Coordinate responses with on-ground security personnel to ensure the safety of customers, staff, and assets.
  • Log and report all incidents, system faults, and operational activities accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine system checks to ensure functionality and address minor troubleshooting tasks.
  • Support emergency protocols including evacuation coordination and escalation procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Security Licence with Control Room (CRO) endorsement.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
Desirable:
  • Certificate II or III in Security Operations.
  • Experience in control room operations or fast-paced monitoring environments.
Essential Requirements:
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Confidence using security software, surveillance systems, and radio communications.
  • Availability for rotating shifts, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.
