Job Title: Head of Future Learning 7-10

Leighland Christian School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our Ulverstone Campus as the Head of Future Learning 7-10. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and collaborative educator to shape the future of education at our school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and delivery of the 7-10 curriculum
  • Roll out the new Learning Framework with the Campus Principal across years 7-10
  • Develop a philosophy of assessment and reporting in alignment with the school's vision, mission, and values
  • Lead and train staff in Ai practices and writing policies and procedures for this practice
  • Work with the Campus Principal to train and develop years 7-10 staff on the Ulverstone Campus
  • Lead, train, inspire, and keep accountable the Ulverstone 7-10 Learning Area Leaders
  • Participate in the Ulverstone Campus Management Team and attend meetings
  • Introduce educational competitions and other experiences into the Learning at Ulverstone Secondary School
  • Work with the Ulverstone Campus Principal to capture data for each student's Personalised Learning Plans

Requirements:

  • Proven commitment to Christian faith
  • Good understanding of and commitment to the mission and philosophy of the school
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to the provision of equal opportunity in education for all students
  • Current Tasmanian Teacher's Registration
  • A current Working with Vulnerable People card
