Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to lead the modernization of our Telco OSS/EMS software landscape. This role involves leading comprehensive software lifecycle upgrade projects, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment phases.

The successful candidate will drive and execute software development & modernization projects, refactoring existing customized source codes written in Python, Java, and C# into new, optimized OS baselines. They will also develop, integrate, and customize software solutions for Cisco and Ericsson EMS platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and adherence to vendor standards.

Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, automating build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate delivery cycles. Additionally, they will develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform for provisioning, configuration management, and infrastructure as code.

Container orchestration is also a key aspect of this role, requiring the ability to deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation tools, version control systems, and cloud platforms, as well as direct experience with Cisco and Ericsson EMS platforms.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a senior-level understanding of IT services and IT consulting are essential for success in this position.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, and C# for large-scale development and system integration.
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible) and version control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Direct experience with Cisco and Ericsson EMS platforms.
  • Telco domain knowledge, with experience within OSS/BSS and EMS environments in telecommunications.
