About This Role

The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day functions, including financial management, staff supervision, resident liaison, and coordination of human and material resources as well as internal and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive community experience for residents.
  • Manage finances, assets, and budgets within the retirement village effectively.
  • Develop and implement business plans, strategies, and policies that align with the organization's vision and values.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a skilled team to deliver exceptional customer service and support to residents.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including residents, families, and external partners.
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, management, or social science) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in retirement living or aged care management, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
