Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at World Courier (Aust) Pty. Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of all processes related to stored materials, including reception, storage, shipment, return, and destruction. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and sign operational jobs
  • Release shipments for distribution
  • Manage the change of product status physically and systematically following client instructions and applicable internal guidelines
  • Lead packaging instruction forms for secondary packaging relabeling tasks ensuring GMP and GDP compliance
  • Perform quality checks on relabeling processes in the absence of a Local Quality Representative or when appointed by the Quality Department
  • Provide instructions to depot staff on stored protocols
  • Act as Deputy Depot Pharmacist when required, supporting depot operational activities based on local legislation
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with government legislative and local health requirements, ICH, GMP, GCP, GDP, local regulatory requirements, legal requirements, and World Courier internal guidelines
  • Comply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures, containing specific instructions for daily depot activities from receipt to shipment/delivery
  • Perform periodic depot self-inspections to ensure facility operations align with WC SOPs
  • Identify and report potential problems arising from personnel management affecting working schedules
  • Manage expired stock movement to Quarantine status
  • Participate in an on-call roster for 24/7 telephone assistance and emergency response in case of temperature control concerns at the facility
  • Review and author global and local SOPs, WI's, and TRN documents
  • Work in various temperature-controlled environments
  • Physically perform packing processes using Cencora World Courier packaging products
  • Participate in scheduled weekend tasks for stock control and balance sheet processes
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes
  • Fully trained in Clinical ERP and willing to learn EWP equipment
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent and/or required training in pharmaceutical service, allowing local regulation performance of mentioned activities
  • Preferred work experience in warehousing and/or dispensing
  • Ability to lift loads up to 20kg independently using safe lifting methods described in manual handling training
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven and able to work autonomously
  • Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, and sound level of numeracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with full command of English
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and variable workload demands
Salary Estimate

A competitive salary is offered for this role, estimated to be between $60,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
