Project Architect Job Overview

This role involves leading or contributing to teams in all phases of architectural and interior projects, along with aspects of office management.

The project architect will work across various project deliverables, including predesign, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding the National Code of Construction
  • Proficient technical skills in Revit and other platforms
  • A detailed understanding of the project management process
  • A detailed understanding of design coordination
  • Delivering profitable projects through effective time and cost management

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 4 years in a similar role
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
  • Strong use of Revit (2022 or above) in shared and collaborative files
  • Excellent knowledge of BCA/NCC, Australian Standards, and Certification bodies

Duties will include:

  • Aligning to Revit and Documentation Standards and templates at all times
  • Delivering high-quality project documentation within the agreed timeframe
  • Managing multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment

Key Qualifications

As a minimum, the successful candidate will possess:

  • Existing and competent understanding of the National Code of Construction
  • Proficient technical skills in Revit and other platforms
  • A detailed understanding of the project management process
  • A detailed understanding of design coordination
  • Experience in delivering profitable projects through effective time and cost management
