As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods into and out of our facilities.
Responsibilities Include:- Goods Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods to identify any discrepancies or damage.
- Purchase Order Management: Accurately record and manage purchase orders received through our Oracle system.
- Inventory Control: Organize and store goods in designated areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Hazardous Materials Handling: Safely handle and store hazardous and fragile items, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure the storage area remains clean and safe at all times.
- Packaging and Loading: Prepare and package outgoing goods for efficient loading onto delivery vehicles.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Documentation Preparation: Assist with the preparation of procurement documentation, including purchase requisitions.
- Material Preparation: Prepare, sort, and deliver materials to the assembly team as required.
- Assembly Assistance: Provide support to assembly activities during the build program, as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Administrative Support: Undertake related administrative and project support tasks as necessary.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with established safety standards.
A few essential requirements include:
- C Class Driver's License: Must hold a valid C Class driver's license.
- High Risk Forklift License: Essential requirement.
- High Risk Overhead Crane Certificate: Preferably held, but not mandatory.
- High Risk Dogmans License: Also preferable, but not essential.
- First Aid Certificate: Held, but not compulsory.
- Basic Computer Literacy: Must have basic computer skills.
- Proven Organisational Skills: Demonstrate strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Effective Communication: Possess excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills are essential.
- Physical Fitness: Physically fit to perform manual handling tasks.
- Safety Commitment: Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Medical Clearance: Must pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
