This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role in managing inventory across our national distribution network. Key Responsibilities include:
- Planning and managing inventory levels to meet customer demands
- Coordinating with suppliers, freight partners and warehouses to ensure timely receipt and processing of goods
- Monitoring inventory health and executing stock transfers between warehouses as needed
- Providing insightful data analysis to inform business decisions through the use of BI tools
- Collaborating with internal teams to achieve key performance indicators around fill rates, inventory targets and cost management
Requirements for the position include:
- 3-5 years experience in purchasing, inventory planning or supply chain roles
- Proven ability to maintain accurate inventory records and manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with vendors, warehouse teams and internal stakeholders
- Ability to travel interstate as required
