Coal Sample Technician Position

This permanent position is available at our Newcastle site. The focus will be on preparing large physical coal samples for testing and simulating coal production processes to test the properties of coal samples.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare coal samples for testing by performing manual handling tasks.
  • Simulate coal production processes to test the properties of coal samples.
Requirements
  • Be physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.
  • Possess a Certificate III or IV in Laboratory skills (preferred but not required).
  • Have previous laboratory or sample preparation experience (not essential).
  • Demonstrate a methodical and organized approach to work.
  • Pass an Order 43 Medical.
  • Hold a valid NSW driver's license.
  • Be reliable and have good communication skills.
