The Role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Lead to join our Manufacturing and Supply Chain Leadership Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving lean manufacturing initiatives, improving efficiencies, and reducing operational costs and waste.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead OPEX initiatives to embed lean manufacturing tools and drive manufacturing process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine root causes of inefficiencies and implement preventive actions
  • Teach, coach, and mentor direct team members, peers, and manufacturing team members to drive short-term OPEX roadmap
  • Work with operational teams to scope, develop, and execute projects that improve facility layouts, equipment, and process efficiency
  • Develop and establish policies and procedures to embed the OPEX mindset across facilities
  • Continuously measure and monitor processes, risks, and controls through post-implementation reviews and project follow-up
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years' industry experience in lean manufacturing, with 2+ years in a similar position within FMCG, automotive, pharma, or similar industries
  • Strong facilitation skills with a track record of engaging and coaching frontline stakeholders to adopt lean manufacturing methodologies
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent IT skills, with the ability to capture and trend data to identify emerging trends and opportunities
  • A strong appetite for innovation and the capacity to challenge the status quo
