4WD Supacentre is seeking a highly skilled Regional Operations Manager to lead our regional operations team and drive growth and excellence in our stores network.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stores are effectively prepared to deliver on key operations KPIs, while consistently driving optimal productivity through seasonal peaks and troughs.

You will coach and develop your leaders to build capability and maturity, and provide thought leadership in terms of proposals and plans to drive further growth and profitability for your region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the National Retail Manager and Regional Sales Manager to ensure store readiness and optimal productivity
  • Coaching and developing leaders to build capability and maturity
  • Providing thought leadership in terms of proposals and plans to drive growth and profitability
  • Leading and establishing a compliance culture aligned to achieving KPIs associated with customer advocacy, warranty claims processing, and stock integrity
  • Driving memorable customer experiences through consistent learning and training on site
  • Actively identifying local business opportunities to attract new customers and maximize visual merchandising and social media
  • Collaborating with the National WHS Manager to ensure adherence to safety framework, policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements:

  • Previous leadership experience in a similar role within the Outdoor, Lifestyle, or Retail industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, highly emotionally intelligent, and resilient as an effective relationship manager
  • Significant problem-solving skills with sound judgement balanced with commercial nous and acumen
  • Significant influencing and coaching skills to build and drive leadership and team capability
  • Proven operations and project management knowledge, skills, and experience
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and inspirational leader with a successful track record in driving discretionary effort
  • Ability to drive effective stakeholder relationships
  • Proven ability to drive reporting through data and analytics to support actionable insights, planning, proposals, and recommendations
