CPB Contractors is a leading Australian construction company, delivering some of the country's most complex and high-profile projects. Our team has been selected to deliver the Central Package of the North East Link Project—Victoria's largest road project.
This package includes twin three-lane tunnels connecting the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway, reducing journey times and diverting heavy vehicles away from local roads. Up to 135,000 vehicles will use North East Link daily, alleviating congestion in the north-east while preserving local roads.

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Strategic Workforce Lead to drive end-to-end recruitment excellence across the project. This includes driving top-tier candidate experiences and strategic hiring for critical roles, focusing on existing employee redeployment.
- Lead recruitment excellence by implementing the end-to-end recruitment process across the project.
- Manage a small team covering workforce/blue collar recruitment as well as white collar and executive recruitment.
- Develop and implement effective workforce development programs.
- Collaborate with project leadership to offer strategic advice on project planning, recruitment governance, and continuous improvement.
- Champion social outcomes through active involvement in our social procurement and candidate engagement strategy.
- Report progress accurately using Power Bi, adhering to program requirements and internal compliance audits.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' experience in recruitment, preferably in construction or engineering. Strong background in talent pipelining and internal recruitment processes is essential. Expertise in fostering internal relationships and delivering recruitment strategies that reflect our commitment to diversity and inclusion is also required.
