The Role:

As Associate Director, Sustainable Lending, you will play a key role in driving sustainability lending growth opportunities by developing and executing new and innovative strategies.

Leveraging your understanding of global best practices in innovation and sustainability solutions across banking, you will develop deep customer, market, and competitor understanding for sustainable lending.

Reporting to and partnering with leadership, you will ensure effective end-to-end control environments are in place for customer and product propositions while meeting regulatory and compliance obligations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop product strategy and roadmap for new and innovative sustainability lending products and propositions.
  • Responsible for the delivery of end-to-end customer, product, and service process and control environment for sustainability lending solutions.
  • Ensure product features support overall product and segment strategy and proposition. Develop and maintain effective banker sales tools, product guides, and product houses to support product proposition.
  • Design and delivery of initiatives to support product proposition and growth.
  • Ensure products and processes are compliant with relevant internal policies and external regulations.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in banking with exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration capability.
  • Deep expertise working with Product Management, Innovation, and Sustainability Lending.
  • Real passion for the environment.
  • Experience within Business Lending.
  • Proven experience within Business Strategy.
  • Knowledge of sustainable business practices.
  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
  • Change Management experience in designing & executing change solutions.
  • Strong Excel & PowerPoint experience.
