Job Title: Despatch Officer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Despatch Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for all despatch requirements, including coordination of delivery trucks, booking and scheduling freight, packing orders for transport, and managing delivery dockets and paperwork.

About the Role:
  • Responsible for all despatch requirements
  • Coordination of delivery trucks
  • Booking, scheduling, and management of freight for materials despatching to site
  • Packing of orders for transport
  • Management of delivery dockets and paperwork for dispatching equipment and goods
  • Unload, check, and complete paperwork for incoming goods in a timely manner
  • Liaison and coordination with customers who collect goods on site
  • Utilising the forklift in accordance with duties

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar position, a valid Australian Driver's License, and a forklift license. They will also possess strong customer service skills, clerical experience using MS Office, and the ability to work to deadlines and available for overtime when required.

Key Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a similar position
  • Forklift license
  • Valid Australian Driver's License
  • Ability to safely conduct manual lifting (upto 20kg)
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Strong clerical experience using MS Office
  • Ability to work to deadlines and available for overtime when required
