The Clearwater Solutions Consultant plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration with clients and prospects to identify and address operational inefficiencies. By showcasing the transformative potential of the Clearwater solution, this expert can drive business growth and elevate overall value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As a trusted advisor, the consultant will serve as a subject matter expert on front-office workflows, driving innovation through their expertise.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for key stakeholders within institutional asset managers and asset owner prospective clients, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective clients, understanding and documenting existing operating models, key business requirements, and pain points.
  • Evaluate customer business and technical needs with a consultative approach, collaborating with sales on the sales strategy, and preparing high-quality solution-led demonstrations and conversations for business and technical stakeholders from prospective firms.
  • Field product requirements from prospective customers and interact with the product team when gaps exist, facilitating continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the deal team to develop a competitive strategy to win the deal, leveraging collective expertise.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and key differentiators of the platform across multiple lines of businesses it caters to, staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Continuously evolve domain expertise with respect to all current developments and enhancements to the platform (SaaS and Managed Services), ensuring cutting-edge knowledge.
  • Prepare high-quality responses to RFI/Ps, effectively articulating the solution's value proposition.
  • Display strong technical acumen with the ability to confer with customers and assess their requirements, delivering tailored solutions.
  • Effectively handle potential client objections and adapt demonstration of functional product capabilities to meet clients' needs, building trust and confidence.
  • Build trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders by demonstrating the benefits and value proposition of the platform, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Use quantifiable metrics to help potential or existing clients reduce costs/time and improve scales/effectiveness by identifying and resolving business operation pain-points, driving tangible results.
  • Contribute to standardizing Solutions Engineering documentation and assist in maintaining the Customer Relationship Management system with accurate and timely information, ensuring data integrity.
  • Maintain internal knowledge bases, prospect notes, demonstration scripts, and templates, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in sales engineering or implementation roles focused on front-office technology serving traditional asset managers and asset owners.
  • Experience in complex, Enterprise sales in FinTech space (Enterprise solutions and services to the front, middle, and back offices of Hedge Funds, Traditional Asset Managers & Asset Owners).
  • Strong understanding of hedge funds, traditional asset manager, and asset owner operating models, the investment management lifecycle, and vendor landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with RFI/RFP processes.
  • Willingness to travel onsite to meet with prospects and clients.
