Energy Contract Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the contractual and commercial aspects of our large-scale biofuels and bioenergy projects.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in contract management, commercial management, or project delivery in the energy sector. You will be responsible for managing all contractual and commercial aspects of our projects, from procurement through to execution and delivery.

You will work closely with project teams, suppliers, EPC contractors, and technology partners to ensure agreements are structured, negotiated, and administered effectively to support successful, safe, and sustainable outcomes.

  • Lead contract preparation, negotiation, execution, and administration across EPC, O&M, licensing, and supply agreements.
  • Manage contract obligations, risks, claims, and variations to achieve strong commercial outcomes.
  • Support procurement and supplier engagement, ensuring partnerships align with sustainability and innovation goals.
  • Provide trusted commercial advice and governance to project leaders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Law, Engineering, Business, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years' experience in contract management, commercial management, or project delivery in energy, renewables, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of EPC and O&M contracting models.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
