Our organisation seeks a dedicated Risk and Compliance professional to support the development and maintenance of our enterprise risk, compliance and innovation function.

This position reports to the Head of Risk, Compliance and Innovation and is responsible for maintaining the legislative compliance register, reviewing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and currency in light of legislative and statutory requirements, statistical analysis and assistance in compiling reports to support the enterprise risk and compliance functions lead by the CGRI team, business process mapping and project concept and business case development, promotion of consumer-focused and innovative initiatives to enhance the quality delivery of personal and clinical care and services for our residents and clients.

In particular, this position includes:

  • Maintenance of the organisation's legislative compliance register
  • Review of policies and procedures to ensure compliance and currency in light of legislative and statutory requirements
  • Statistical analysis and assistance in compiling reports to support the enterprise risk and compliance functions lead by the CGRI team
  • Business process mapping and project concept and business case development
  • Promotion of consumer-focused and innovative initiatives to enhance the quality delivery of personal and clinical care and services for our residents and clients

We are looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting the risk, compliance and audit function in the aged care, health or other relevant industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of quality and risk management systems including incident investigation, analysis and corrective actions
  • Demonstrated experience in legislative compliance and policy review to ensure governance documents reflect current legal requirements and industry standards
  • Demonstrated experience in business process mapping, business case development, project planning and coordination
  • Understanding of processes for internal controls for identifying and managing risk
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
