About The PersonThe ideal candidate has extensive experience in privacy, data governance, and strategic leadership, preferably in higher education or a complex organisational environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of VU's Information and Data Governance Framework.
- Provide expert guidance on privacy enquiries, complaints, and incidents.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive privacy training and resources for University leaders.
- Drive strategic alignment and oversight through the Data Governance Committee.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with Indigenous units to embed Indigenous Data Sovereignty principles.
