Requirements:
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing data governance roadmaps within complex organizations operating in multiple regions.
  • Expert knowledge of data protection laws spanning Australia & New Zealand.
  • Skilled at applying data governance principles in technology strategies, including AI and cloud platforms.
  • Strong capability in managing the entire data lifecycle, from collection through to minimization and secure disposal.
  • Proven track record in designing and sustaining data governance frameworks that reflect best practice.
  • Confident project leader with the ability to engage stakeholders and communicate clearly at all levels.
  • Background in Legal, Audit, or Risk functions will be highly regarded.
  • Recognized for integrity, independence, and sound judgment when navigating sensitive compliance issues.
