Restaurant Leadership Role

We are seeking an exceptional Restaurant Manager to lead our team in delivering outstanding dining experiences while driving business success.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves planning and executing restaurant operations, supervising staff, and maintaining a clean and functional environment.

  • Selecting, training, and supervising front-of-house staff to ensure high service standards.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance service standards and areas for continuous improvement.
  • Organising and executing functions and events in the restaurant and private dining room.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and supervising front-of-house staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
  • Collaborating with the Executive Chef to plan and update seasonal menus that reflect quality, authenticity, and business objectives.
  • Managing inventory, supplier relationships, and procurement of food, beverages, and other goods in line with quality and budget targets.
  • Providing accurate sales, cost, stock level, and financial transaction records to support reporting and analysis.
Requirements
  • Appropriate qualification and at least 1-year relevant experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-quality environment with excellent food and wine knowledge.
  • Alternatively, possess at least 3 years relevant experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-quality environment with excellent food and wine knowledge.
  • A background in restaurant operations and administrative duties such as rostering, stock takes, and analysing performance results is essential.
  • Strong work ethic, excellent communication and leadership skills, and attention to detail are required.
