About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as an Estimator and Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of estimates and project proposals, collaborating with engineering and design teams, and participating in tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of estimates and project proposals, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to gather project specifications and details for estimating purposes.
  • Participate in tender submissions by providing detailed and precise cost breakdowns.
  • Maintain and update a database of cost information for future reference.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices.
Requirements
  • A recent university degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering practices.
  • Some proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and developing expertise in special purpose mechanical equipment.
