Job Description

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing and solving complex engineering problems while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Directing and coordinating the efforts of Engineers, Designers, and Drafters on key projects.
  • Developing and maintaining design standards, guidelines, and control procedures.
  • Representing projects at meetings and conferences, and preparing patents and technical papers.
  • Overseeing mechanical engineering activities for major projects and contributing to team goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in ANSYS and Solid Works, with experience in preparing engineering drawings.
  • Practical experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in analyzing and resolving complex engineering issues.
  • Enthusiasm for concept development and mechanical design.
  • Knowledge of vibration analysis with first principles and FEA methods is advantageous but not required.
  • CPENG/RPEQ preferred or actively working towards it.
