Exciting Opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical or Chemical Engineer

TfA Project Group is a leading engineering services firm dedicated to delivering tailored solutions across various industries, including renewable energy, biofuels, and downstream oil.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Mechanical or Chemical Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects and gain valuable experience in project engineering, design, and documentation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing project documentation, including tender documents, project specifications, and design drawing packages
  • Performing and documenting engineering calculations, such as hydraulic modeling and equipment sizing
  • Reviewing and preparing user specifications, PFDs, and P&IDs
  • Liaising with other discipline engineers to ensure integrated and compliant designs
  • Supporting project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering (recognized by Engineers Australia)
  • Up to 3 years of post-graduate experience
  • Excellent technical writing skills and ability to demonstrate experience in applicable technical calculations and design
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to project milestones
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English
