Mental Injury Rehabilitation Specialist

Work as a Recovery Case Coordinator to help employees recover and return to work after experiencing mental injuries.
Supporting the recovery of others requires empathy, understanding, and strong interpersonal skills. As a dedicated member of our team, you will provide guidance and assistance to employees in need, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
In this role, you will work closely with employees, health professionals, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective return-to-work plans. You will also provide education and training to key stakeholders on rehabilitation, return to work, and workers compensation.
To be successful in this position, you will require relevant tertiary qualifications in an allied health-related field, experience managing complex psychological injuries, and extensive knowledge of workers compensation claims management and legislation.
About the Role- Provide support to employees to recover and return to work using your skills and knowledge of recovery from mental injuries
- Develop and regularly review return-to-work plans for employees
- Liaise with health professionals, specialists, leaders, insurers, and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes
- A strong work ethic, passion for helping the community, teamwork, integrity, accountability, and respect are values we admire.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in an allied health related field
- Experience managing complex psychological injuries
- Extensive understanding of workers compensation claims management and the relevant legislation
