Senior Freight Operations Specialist

This role involves managing the operational aspects of airfreight services, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of shipments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring prompt resolution of queries and concerns.
  • Oversee the execution of shipment planning, booking, and documentation, aligning with customer expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity within the Transport Management System (TMS), capturing shipment milestones in real-time.
  • Lead the financial performance of each job file, ensuring accurate billing, capture of services rendered, and application of revenue and cost allocations.
  • Drive process efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging customer feedback and performance data to refine operational workflows.

Accountabilities:

  • Champion customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring every shipment reflects operational excellence and contributes to long-term client partnerships.
  • Drive profitability and cost control, identifying margin improvement opportunities across job files and implementing corrective actions where needed.
