Commercial Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Paralegal to join our growing Recovery and Restructuring practice on a full-time permanent basis.
In this role, you will be acting on behalf of major banks and non-bank lenders on secured and unsecured recovery matters. The work is fast-paced, with responsibility for managing a portfolio of files from start to finish.
You will work alongside lawyers in the team, with an emphasis on compliance and quality assurance.
- File management;
- Preparing legal documents, including statutory notices and court documents;
- Maintaining regular communications with clients via online web-based portal;
- Liaising with defaulting customers regarding sensitive financial matters;
- Working with lawyers to progress matters through Courts.
Requirements for Success
You will be extremely well organised and possess superior drafting skills, with close attention to detail. This role involves handling a large workload and maintaining up-to-date records.
We seek self-motivated and driven individuals with a professional outlook and phone manner, able to work under pressure and handle sensitive matters.
Prior Experience Not Required
Applicants with secured or unsecured recoveries experience will be favourably considered. Law students should only apply if they have 2 years (or more) left on their degree.
