Debt Recovery Specialist

We are seeking an experienced debt recovery specialist to join our team, responsible for building relationships with customers and supporting them through the repayment process in challenging circumstances.

This role requires empathy, strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver in line with commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage early arrears portfolio end to end
  • Making suitable arrangements with customers as per credit policy
  • Monitoring financial hardship, variations, bankrupts and defaults register
  • Responding to inbound collections queries
  • Following up on broken payments
Requirements:
  • Experience in debt collection or related field
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of financial services industry
