As a Provisional Psychologist, you will identify and address critical factors impacting workers' ability to return to work. You will provide strategies to address these factors in practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete return-to-work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
  • Provide holistic support to help restore individuals' highest level of functional performance through assessments such as Initial Needs Assessments, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, and Vocational Assessments.
  • Deliver vocational counselling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training, and upskilling.
  • Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical, and other allied health professionals.
Requirements
  • Professional registration with AHPRA as either a Provisional Psychologist (currently undertaking a 4+2 or 5+1 internship pathway) or a Registered Psychologist, along with a relevant psychology qualification.
  • Current driver's license and access to own transport.
  • Ability to obtain a Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
