The College of Education, Psychology and Social Work is seeking an academic leader to join its team as a Senior Lecturer or Lecturer in Psychology. The successful candidate will provide leadership in teaching and learning across Psychology topics with a focus on Child and Adolescent Mental Health Assessment.

As a senior academic, you will deliver high-quality teaching across all levels and modes, lead curriculum development and review, create courses that prepare students for diverse interprofessional contexts, and apply innovative teaching practices and technologies to enhance the learning experience.

This position is open to international candidates, with relocation and visa support available.

About You
  • You have expertise in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Educational or Developmental Psychology.
  • You are passionate about enhancing curriculum and supporting students to develop graduate-ready skills and knowledge.
  • You bring energy professionalism and a collaborative mindset.

Candidates will be suitable for Level B or Level C positions depending on their relevant experience. In this position, you will also demonstrate:

  • Completion of a PhD in Psychology and/or a master's qualification with equivalent professional experience.
  • Eligibility for registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Experience in the practice teaching and supervision of child and adolescent psychological assessment.
  • Demonstrated capacity for excellence and innovation in tertiary-level teaching and learning.
