Faculty Psychologist Role

The University of Adelaide is seeking a registered psychologist with endorsement in clinical, educational and developmental or health psychology to supervise Master of Psychology students on placement.

This role involves providing clinical oversight, assessment and support for students undertaking a placement as part of the Master of Psychology programs at the University of Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registration as a Psychologist in Australia, with Endorsement in Clinical or Educational and Developmental or Health Psychology.
  • Board Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia and demonstrated experience in supervision of students on placement.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and their families, and ideally, with children living with serious illness and/or injury.
  • Demonstrated ability in working with people from a range of different cultural backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills providing flexible psychological therapy to a range of client presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise the research of undergraduate, honours or postgraduate students, relative to opportunity.
