Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Computer Network and Systems Engineer (Implementation Technician) to join our team on a full-time basis at our Perth office. The business is renowned for supplying products that are customised to meet the demands of running a bar, restaurant, cafe, hotel or club.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing day-to-day operations, including the installation, deployment, configuration, testing, data migration, and administration of system software components, networks, databases, servers, and workstations.
  • Design and configure system architectures tailored to client requirements, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate closely with clients during the implementation and go-live phases to design data models, network requirements, backup strategies, and integration processes.
  • Configure, update and maintain networking devices such as routers, switches and access points, enable/disable TCP and UDP ports and configure firewall rules, subnets and VLANs depending on the needs and requirements of the business.
  • Continuously assess, monitor, and research network infrastructures to optimize performance, providing recommendations for improvements in hardware, software, and features for hospitality venues across WA.
  • Provide professional remote and onsite support for diagnosing and resolving Microsoft Windows servers, network printers, scanners, MSR.
Requirements
  • Experience in designing and configuring system architectures and networks.
  • Strong knowledge of system software components, databases, servers, and workstations.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with clients and provide excellent communication skills.
  • Skills in configuring, updating and maintaining networking devices and software.
  • Knowledge of best practices for network security and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
