About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead our network architecture and solutions in Perth. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of networking concepts and protocols, as well as experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network architecture and solutions to meet business needs
  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Implement and manage network security measures to protect IT infrastructure and data
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures
  • Provide advanced technical support to resolve network-related issues and assist users
  • Plan and execute network upgrades and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • Evaluate network systems for compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a network administration or network project role
  • Relevant certifications such as Fortinet Certified Fundamentals (FCF), Fortinet Certified Associate (FCA), Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP), Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist (FCSS), Fortinet Certified Expert (FCE) or similar
